I am a former Multimedia and Graphic Design student. I’ve been studying English for almost 15 years. My hobbies vary from singing and dancing to reading and cooking and playing every mainstream sport. Basketball has been my passion since I was 10. I have played for different teams and associations in and out of the United States. My highest level achieved in sports has been Semi-pro in my birth country. From a very young age, I became a huge fan of comics and superheroes (yes, call me a nerd), and I used to spend my days at the city library in order to read as many comics and comic series as I could. My top three superheroes are Batman, Superman, and Martian Manhunter. As I mentioned before, I love dancing. I am what people call BFAB (born from a boombox), I was born dancing. I dance the Bachata, Merengue, Salsa, Hip-hop, Krump, and Break-dance; however, I do not plan to stop there. Kizomba, Swing, Charleston, Country, Flamenco, and Tango are on my to-be-learned list. As of today, I am very passionate about developing new habits and improving myself on the way; therefore, productivity and self-improvement books, videos, and audios have become fundamental in my daily schedule. I love motivational speakers; some of my favorites are Les Brown, Eric Thomas, and Tony Robbins. Before becoming a tutor I worked as a Quality Assurance Analyst for 2 years in an online environment. The reason I decided to be a teacher is that I’ve always liked the idea of being the channel that helps other people connect with new worlds, new cultures, and new people.
