I am from Manchester, England, and I am based in Mexico. I have a TEFL certificate, and as well as having a few years of experience in teaching, I have had a wide range of jobs in a number of different industries. I have worked picking different fruits and making them into jams and sauces, I have worked on markets, farms, ski fields, construction sites, and in factories - I have had to be flexible in what work I am happy doing in order to help fund my passion for travel. My hobbies include cooking (I am plant-based so that has encouraged me to cook more, and now I love it!), I love to travel and plan on visiting as many countries as possible. My favourite sport is football/soccer - I enjoy watching, but prefer playing, my team is Manchester United and I have been to see hundreds of games with my father and brother at Old Trafford. I had a very bad back injury a few years ago, and that introduced me to yoga, which I now practice every day. I am also a Level 1 Reiki practitioner, as of August 2020, and I perform self Reiki, with the view to one day possibly perform Reiki healings on others. I am passionate about teaching English, and interacting with people from all over the world!
