graduated with a degree in Nursing but have always loved teaching. I did both when I got employed as a nurse in the healthcare industry where training became part of the job. This meant that I get to teach new employees on working procedures and orient clients on the details of their healthcare program. A few years back, i took on volunteer work to teach young children and prepare weekly English lessons for them. This involved research work on the assigned topic and thinking up ways on how to present to them which could be in the form of a story,a skit, test or a game. My hobbies include baking and cooking which both were driven by my family’s fondness for food. We often try out food in restaurants and i would to recreate those dishes in our kitchen. Watching my family finish off the food I prepare is the ultimate reward. Another thing that I love doing and which I also share with my family is reading books. While we have different preferences in terms of topic, this is one activity that we all enjoy. Checking out new books in bookstores is a regular thing for us. And while most books are now available in digital formats, nothing beats the smell of books or holding it in your hand.. Another personal favorite for me is running. Aside from clearing my mind and helping me relax, this activity gives me the time to connect with my daughter.
